Advanced Technical Institute™ Director, George Cajas

I am George Cajas, Founder and Director of Advanced Technical Institute™ (ATI), an organization I established in December 1998 with a mission to empower individuals through training and education. For more than 30 years, I have dedicated my career to vocational training, workforce development, business management, computer technology, curriculum design, and Learning Management Systems. My work is centered on helping individuals gain practical skills, confidence, and career readiness so they can succeed in today’s changing workforce.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of developing and delivering hands-on training programs that support students, job seekers, TANF participants, and adult learners as they work toward educational, professional, and personal growth. Under my leadership, ATI has partnered with social service and return-to-self-sufficiency programs and has provided vocational computer training, GED preparation, job skills development, digital literacy instruction, and career-readiness support. ATI has also awarded computers and laptops to help reduce technology barriers and increase access to learning opportunities.

I hold degrees, certificates, and professional training from respected institutions, including Harvard University, MIT Sloan School of Management, Yale School of Management Executive Education, Los Angeles Trade Technical College, and other leading learning organizations. My commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in earning more than 75 certifications through platforms such as Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, edX, and IBM SkillsBuild. I believe that continuous learning is not only a professional responsibility but also a powerful example to the students and communities we serve.

Over the years, I have personally led hundreds of training sessions, taught thousands of hands-on classes, and trained individuals across diverse backgrounds and communities. As a bilingual and multicultural professional, I bring a deep understanding of adult education, learner assessment, classroom management, curriculum development, experiential learning, staff development, and program leadership. My strengths include building effective teams, creating practical training systems, developing policies and procedures, and designing learning experiences that connect education to real-world employment goals.

Every day, my purpose is to help people recognize their potential, strengthen their skills, and move forward with confidence. Together with the dedicated instructors and staff at ATI, I remain committed to preparing individuals for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow’s workforce while continuing ATI’s long-standing motto: Empowerment through training and education.
